"Hey! Can I borrow that for a sec?"

Come! Sit, the three of you that like to see this stuff, for it's time for me to expound upon a concept that's taken up a ton of space in my brain.

Ms. Greyswift, here, is a bit of an odd case... in that she's perfectly normal. An average girl, living an average life, making average grades. The only things that made Natalie a little odd to her classmates was her propensity for wearing her father's dogtags to school every day as a sort of proud memorial of the man he was, in life and death, and her amazing ability to make friends with anyone. She never seemed to be at a loss for someone to talk to of any clique or status- everyone just seemed to find her agreeable.

Strangely, Natalie seemed to be multitalented, too! When she hung out with her friends in Music class, she played a mean saxophone- but not really as good as others. When playing basketball with the jocks, she had some skills! No all-star by a long shot, still. And just from one day of hanging around her art teacher, she could sketch a pretty portrait... for an amateur. It seemed like there wasn't anything Nat couldn't do... but there didn't seem to be anything she particularly wanted to do, either.

Her life- and her school bus- was turned upside down when she was sought out by the Hunters for the fact that she unwittingly held the hybrid ability to absorb the muscle memories- and hybrid powers!- of anybody who left even a trace amount of DNA for her to touch. Learning that her house- and thus, her mother- had been blown to bits in the carnage, she cried and fled to the safety of what she assumed was a bomb shelter. It was there she met a very odd, but interesting character, who swore he would protect her and, if she desired, help her exact vengeance on the monsters who did this. This strange furless man identified himself as a "Super Hero"... whatever that was.

Now she roams the cities and countryside with her forceful, justice-preaching friend, trying to make sense of this awful conflict and find out who killed her mother. But does she have the heart for vengeance? Only time will tell.
